Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. You will troubleshoot electrical issues, perform routine inspections, and ensure that all electrical systems comply with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify faulty components
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues and solutions clearly
• Test electrical systems to ensure they function properly and safely
• Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and materials required
• Respond to emergency service calls and work efficiently to resolve issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in electrical services preferred
• Proven experience as an electrical service technician (2+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and troubleshooting methods
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
