Qualifications:

* Relevant engineering education (preferably MSc level or higher) and/or professional high-tech experience.

* Previous experience in space systems engineering, spacecraft, and mission design.

* Knowledge of Space Systems: Strong understanding of space systems, including satellites, spacecraft, launch vehicles, and related technologies.

* Systems Engineering Skills: Proficiency in systems engineering principles and methodologies, such as requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, verification, and validation.

* Experience with CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS or similar).

* Experience with mission analysis tools (STK, GMAT or similar).

* Programming and Scripting: Depending on the specific role, familiarity with programming languages or scripting languages may be beneficial (e.g. Python, Matlab).

* Systematic and proactive approach.

* Strong quality awareness, understanding of quality assurance processes and standards in the aerospace industry.

* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.

* Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with space missions or projects.

* Able to deliver on time, or to report any deviations proactively.

* Able to quickly expand application-specific skills and familiarize oneself with new responsibilities.

* Results-oriented, autonomous, and analytical.

* Fluent in English on a professional level (speaking, reading, and writing).

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.

* Able to work both independently and in a team environment, in cooperation with systems and subsystems engineers in multidisciplinary teams.

* Experience in customer-facing and explaining complicated technologies in easily understandable terms.
