VP of Commerce – Defence/DroneTech – EU – up to €190,000

Darwin Recruitment have partnered with a leader in UAV technology innovation across Europe, who are playing a key role in leveling-up European Defences.

They are in full scale-up mode and have ambitious plans for the future.

As the VP of Commerce, you will head up their international Business Development, Sales and Marketing teams.

The Role
You will execute key strategic objectives, lead on opening new markets and expanding existing accounts, manage a team of BD/Sales/Marketing leaders and set the business up for sustainable long-term success.

Experience of Interest

• 10+ years proven track record of Sales in the Defence, Aerospace or Government procurement sector (B2B, PPPs, B2G)
• Understanding of High-Tech solutions within the Defence and/or UAV industry.
• Leadership of successful global commercial teams, including manager-level individuals.
• Skilled in negotiation/bid processes/sales cycles of complex, large-scale contracts.
• Network across Europe (Baltics, Nordics, Ukraine, France, UK, Germany of real interest)

This opportunity will suit someone coming from a strong Defence / Military background who has a passion for innovative technology.

Pay €150-190,000 + SAR scheme / Role to be ideally located in the Netherlands however hybrid options considered.
