Project Manager Engineering

As a Project Manager Engineering, you will lead and coordinate the engineering process, overseeing the collaboration between various engineering disciplines and teams. Your role ensures the timely delivery of a comprehensive, integrated engineering package that meets regulations, quality standards, and company benchmarks. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager Engineering, you will play a pivotal role within the Central Engineering Department while maintaining close communication with the project leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the full engineering scope, budget, and planning, ensuring progress is on track.
• Deliver well-supported engineering plans and defined packages aligned with project goals.
• Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Assess changes in client requirements and consult with the project manager regarding impacts.
• Facilitate the flow of technical information across business units and ensure engineering progress.
• Inspire and motivate the engineering team to find innovative solutions.

Your Profile:

• A technical or maritime degree at a higher professional or university level.
• Experience in yacht or shipbuilding, particularly in engineering and project management.
• Familiarity with all phases of the engineering process and working in dynamic, client-focused environments.
• Proficient communication skills in Dutch and English.
