Position
As the Lead Civil Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful planning, design, and execution of plant construction projects. You will lead a team of civil and structural engineers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the safety, efficiency, and quality of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:
- Lead and oversee civil and structural engineering aspects of plant construction projects from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop comprehensive project plans.

Design and Analysis:
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations for various plant components, including foundations, support structures, and steel frameworks.
- Ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor a team of civil and structural engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Review and approve engineering drawings and documentation.

Budget and Cost Control:
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.

Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and challenges related to civil and structural aspects of projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address concerns and ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/master's degree in civil engineering (TU, university, FH) with a specialization in steel, solid construction, structural engineering or similar.
- Experience (at least 5 years) in the preparation of feasibility studies, pre-dimensioning and verifiable static calculations of steel construction, solid construction and foundation constructions, mainly in the inventory of plant construction.
- Project experience in the execution of projects in plant construction (at least 5 years) in existing projects
