We are currently helping them to recruit for a dynamic and driven Sales/Business Development Manager to join our expanding team and contribute to the growth of our business in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and cosmetic sectors.
Position Overview:
The Sales/Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. You will be developing these revenue streams in this area, and further growing the footprint our client has. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of drug delivery in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, along with a passion for innovation. You will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identify potential clients, and close deals that expand our market footprint globally.
Your Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and cosmetic industries.
- Sales Execution: Drive end-to-end sales processes, including lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, product presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth in drug delivery, microneedling, and transdermal therapeutic systems.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and cosmetic brands to foster long-term partnerships.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest advancements in microneedling technology and drug delivery systems, understanding how our solutions can meet client needs.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a scientific field
- 5+ years of experience in a sales function, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- Ideally, have knowledge of drug delivery
- Proven sales record and record of developing client relationships
- Ability to negotiate and have strong communication skills
- English speaking
- Must be able to travel throughout the EU – potentially globally
