Dutch Speaking – Information Security Expert

In this role, you play a critical role in ensuring information security and privacy. You will ensure that policies are implemented by monitoring, analyzing and addressing security alerts and incidents, in collaboration with the external SOC and the IT team. As an Information Security Specialist, you will start in a new role in a new department, where you will work with the Information Security Manager to roll out and optimize the policy. You will have a lot of freedom to make your own interpretation and have a direct impact on the organization.

What will you do?

• Daily monitoring of threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with the SOC vendor and colleagues in following up security incidents and alerts.
• Continuously improve information security at the application, infrastructure and network levels.

Required knowledge/skills:

• Experience optimizing internally and externally available security tools (such as external SOC, Microsoft Defender, Varonis, etc…).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on information security
• Demonstrated knowledge of vulnerability scans, logs and security use cases, as well as the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language in both word and writing, as all documentation and communication is in Dutch.
