Job Title: Technical Sales Consultant

Location: Antwerp, Belgium

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in selling specialized solutions related to rotating equipment and turbomachinery, including steam turbines, gas turbines, and screw compressors. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, consultative selling, and relationship management.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships in the engineering and industrial sectors.
• Understand client needs and recommend technical solutions tailored to their requirements.
• Prepare and deliver product and service presentations to clients.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and customization of solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
• Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through to deal closure.
• Provide technical consultation for mechanical operating issues related to turbomachinery.
• Support field service personnel in resolving technical challenges and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment (e.g., steam turbines, axial/radial compressors, screw compressors).
• Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse cultures.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive “Yes we can” attitude.
• Comfortable with extensive travel across Europe, sometimes at short notice.
• EU passport and valid driver’s license (B).
• Residing in or near Antwerpen.
• Own car for commuting to the office.

Salary:

• Gross monthly salary: €3,000-€4,900 (all-in).
• Gross annual salary: €41,000-€68,000 (all-in), including 13.92 months per year.
