Darwin are actively recruiting for an experenced ABAP UI5 Fiori developer, based in Belgium for a 6-12 month assignment. This assignment will require 1-2 days on site weekly in Brussels. Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is embarking on a major SAP transformation program and is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong UI5 and Fiori expertise. You’ll play a key role in the design, development, and enhancement of custom SAP applications that improve user experience and business process efficiency.

Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer (UI5 / Fiori)
Client Location: Belgium – On-site twice per week
Remote Work Offering: Hybrid (2 days on site per week)
Client Industry: Manufacturing & Supply Chain
Contract Length: 12 months (extension highly likely)
Contract Type: Freelance

Key Skills and Experience Required

• 8+ years’ experience in SAP ABAP development
• Proven expertise with SAP UI5, Fiori, and OData services
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA environments
• Experience with enhancements, user exits, and custom developments
• Excellent communication skills in English (French is a strong plus)
• Based in Belgium, with flexibility to travel on-site twice per week
