I’m currently recruiting for Air Compressor Service technicians of all levels in Salt Lake City, UT for a distributor of compressed air equipment/products.

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 + Overtime + Benefits + Commission

Your role:

In order to provide optimal service to our valued customers, we are expanding our reach in the field service area. This expansion is aligned with our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality service with exceptional efficiency. As a Field Service Technician, you play a vital role in furthering this mission. Your proximity to customers and dedication to servicing our products will contribute to an exceptional customer experience. You will be reporting directly to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and fixing issues with a range of equipment, including air compressors, air dryers (both regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
  • You’ll perform pressure washing, when feasible, to thoroughly clean the entire equipment pad at the customer’s site, including skids, coolers, concrete surfaces, tanks, and more.
  • You will maintain open communication with both the customer and the Service Manager, ensuring you clearly present all available options for necessary repairs, upgrades, or other customer requirements.
  • Offer diagnostic evaluations, maintenance, repairs, and technical assistance for a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and compressed air applications.
  • You will provide guidance and support to fellow Service Technicians through training and assistance.
  • You will actively promote and adhere to safety protocols, emphasizing the correct usage of personal and protective equipment.
  • You will handle the setting up, installation, and piping of compressor systems as required.
  • You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call schedule with fellow Technicians, organized by the Service Manager.

Requirements:

  • Possessing a valid driver’s license is a requirement.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a technician role is necessary.
  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair is essential.
  • Demonstrating a strong customer-centric approach and a commitment to fulfilling customer requirements is a key aspect of the position.
  • You must be equipped with all the necessary basic tools for the job.
  • Experience maintaining air compressors
