Air Compressor Sales Representative

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Salary: $50,000 – £80,000 + Commission OTE: $120,000 – $150,000

About the role:

  • We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Air Compressor Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the industrial equipment sector, with a focus on air compressor systems. As an Air Compressor Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue by prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals with customers in various industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales strategy aimed at broadening the customer base in the designated territory.
  • Establish and sustain a robust sales pipeline to fulfill territory sales targets.
  • Regularly engage with customers in the assigned area to foster enduring relationships built on understanding their requirements.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the companies range of services and products.
  • Articulate the benefits and capabilities of the companies services and products to effectively address customer needs.
  • Fulfill bid requirements by compiling and submitting necessary documentation to the central office.
  • Deliver presentations, engage in negotiation, and successfully conclude proposals.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
  • AS/AA in Business or Technical Field (preferred).
  • Two or more years of direct sales experience.
  • Passionate about selling and finding ways to satisfy customers’ needs.
  • A “Hunter” mentality adept at developing a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Ability to devise account sales strategies and meet tight timelines.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills to develop and close deals.
  • Exceptional phone and customer service skills.
  • Ability to explain product and service features and benefits in a way that stands out over other service companies.
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales cycle, from planning to closing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills’
  • Resilience and willingness to overcome objections and deal with rejection.
  • Ability to travel at least 90% of the time.
